In the last five years Doug’s main teacher was Susan Diehl and he continued to develop his skills with such great artists as Bill Reese and Simon Kogan. While Doug spent most of his time in work and family, his passion, after his family was art. In the last 16 years he has been painting full time. Doug is interested in color and light and it’s interaction on objects, whether stillife or landscape.
